A new chapter in healthcare delivery was written in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA as the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Primary Health Centre (PHC), Ikosi—the biggest primary healthcare facility in Nigeria—was officially commissioned in a grand ceremony that drew top leaders, dignitaries, and community stakeholders.

The landmark event underscores the renewed focus of government and stakeholders on accessible, affordable, and world-class healthcare for all Nigerians, beginning at the grassroots.

The commissioning was graced by an array of high-profile leaders, led by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

The facility was officially commissioned by Her Excellency Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on behalf of our mother, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.

Also in attendance were: Former Deputy Governors, Her Excellency Sarah Sosan and Her Excellency Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire (currently SSA to the President on SDGs), Hon. Mrs. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, APC Women Leader and member of lagos GAC, Traditional rulers, community leaders, and a host of prominent dignitaries.
