Turning Neglect into Pride, One Community at a Time
Ikosi-Isheri LCDA recently visited Adetuberu Street, Oloworo-Ira, Isheri — a road once considered the longest and worst in the entire axis — now beautifully reconstructed under the purposeful leadership of Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada (Madam Project).
For years, residents endured hardship: poor mobility, damaged vehicles, and flooding during heavy rains. Today, those stories belong to the past. Adetuberu Street now stands as a symbol of progress, safety, and renewed community pride.
During the Community Feedback Tour, residents and stakeholders expressed their gratitude and relief:
“We never thought this would happen in our lifetime. This road is proof that our LCDA listens.”
“Business is moving better, transport is smooth, and the value of properties here has increased.”
“Madam Project has shown us that promises can be kept — we are truly grateful.”
This project is not just a road; it is a testament to responsive governance, accountability, and leadership that prioritizes the people. Once again, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA proves that when local government works, the lives of residents improve.
Service. Impact. Progress.
